I think my love of motorsport didn't start from watching the formula 1 every weekend from a young age but instead from the many times' Maggie drove places with me in the car. I used to love the speed at which she drove, she was a proper Nigel Mansell ;-) and the Mansell's always had super fast cars! 

I remember the thrill of Maggie putting her foot down and going fast round the corners. I think she was a secret racer at heart :)

I remember this one trip we had although i cannot remember exactly where (this was when I was about 10 yo) but she managed to get up to 100mph on this super straight road up on some hills (somewhere in Gloucestershire probably) I thought it was so cool!

I'll never forgot my speedy Auntie Maggie Mansell namesake of Nigel. x
